Today is UCSB Give Day! Every gift makes a difference!

Today marks UCSB’s first-ever Give Day, an online experience designed to celebrate the Gaucho spirit and to support UCSB like never before.  Today we take pride in our achievements and honor the people who bring this campus to life.
With six Nobel Laureates and half of our undergraduate class engaged in research, Gauchos have joined together to create a world-class institution. Recent rankings have placed us as the #8 public national university (2016 U.S. News and World Report Best College Rankings) and the greenest public university in the nation (2015 Princeton Review Top 50 Green Colleges). That kind of notoriety requires sustained support to keep us moving forward.
Today, we’re witnessing a wave of generosity from our alumni and friends. Individuals are donating on Give Day, contributing to a collective movement that is sure to expand possibilities for future generations of Gauchos.
Give Day is a testament to the power of community: a day to prove that every contribution counts, and that this cumulative impact generates a powerful force—a force which will drive change and propel UCSB into higher levels of achievement.
Support UCSB Give Day and together as Gauchos, we’ll expand possibilities.
