Siddha Pimputkar

Assistant Professor, Department of Material Science and Engineering Center for Photonics and Nanoelectronics

Siddha Pimputkar became an Assistant Professor at Lehigh University in 2016. He received his Ph.D. from UCSB in 2012 after developing bulk, single crystal growth of gallium nitride (GaN) using the ammonothermal method. His current research interest focuses on innovating novel growth systems permitting synthesis and growth of advanced, inorganic, crystalline materials enabling high performance sensors and electronic/optical devices.
